Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Classified Rentals ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our platform and mobile application.

Please read these Terms carefully. By registering for an account, listing an item, or renting an item on Classified Rentals, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use our services, you must satisfy the following criteria:

• You must be at least 18 years old to transact on our platform.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account details.
• Hosts must complete verified profile checks before listing items.

3. Platform User Obligations

Classified Rentals is a marketplace connecting independent Hosts and Renters. Users must strictly adhere to the following obligations:

For Hosts: You must ensure that listed items are clean, fully operational, safe to use, and match the photos and descriptions uploaded.

For Renters: You must use the rented item carefully, only for its intended purpose, and return it in the exact condition in which it was received, excluding fair wear and tear.

4. Rental Fees, Security Deposits, & Payments

All financial transactions are governed under our billing structures:

• Rental Rates: Rates listed on the platform are determined by the Host. Price modifications will not apply to active bookings.
• Security Deposit: Hosts may require a security deposit before handing over high-value goods. This deposit is fully refundable upon safe and undamaged return of the item.
• Platform Fees: We reserve the right to charge a minor platform facilitation fee on each successful transaction to cover digital gateway and infrastructure costs.

5. Damages, Late Fees, & Dispute Resolution

We work to ensure smooth transactions, but in case of damages or delays, the following clauses apply:

• Late Returns: A late fee calculated on a pro-rata daily rate plus a penalty may be charged to the Renter for unexcused delays.
• Disputes: Any conflict between Host and Renter must be immediately reported to our support center for secure review.

6. Limitation of Liability

Classified Rentals is not an owner, handler, or manufacturer of the listed items. We act solely as a technology facilitator.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Classified Rentals shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of rented goods, physical injury, or host-renter disputes.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and blacklist you from our ecosystem if you breach these Terms, misrepresent item information, fail verification checks, or behave in a fraudulent manner.
